We Did It!

Dear Supporters of Bolton Academy,

When we made the tough decision to move SOFi's Night online this year, we knew it would present new challenges.  Not only did our entire format change — no live auction, no 50/50 rings, no dancing, no food and worst of all, no drinks! — but we also knew that everyone is facing unprecedented challenges.  We are all making tough decisions these days, and it would have been easy for many of you to decide not to participate this year.  Well, participate you did, and the final results are in — we raised over $60,000 for our amazing school! While just a bit short of our goal, we were amazed by how many of you showed up — and showed up big! — for Bolton Academy during this crazy time.  Our school is great because of YOU, and I'm so thankful to the members of the SOFi board for all of their hard work pivoting to this new format on such short notice.

So, again, I'd like to thank all of you — our sponsors, donors, ticket holders, wine wall buyers, raffle participants, volunteers and bidders who kept the bids going throughout the weekend and even made extra donations of support!  Your engagement this past weekend will make a real difference in the lives of our students.  Also, I ask each of you to please take a moment to review our list of sponsors.  Many of them are local businesses who will continue to need our support through these difficult times.

Finally, I'd like to once again recognize our 2019 Eric S. Jones Benefactors of the Year — Travis and Connie Herman of Scofflaw Brewing Company.  Thank you so much, Travis, Connie and the team at Scofflaw, for your unwavering support of our school.

Now, the real question on everyone's mind — how do I collect my winnings?  Many auction items are electronic gift certificates that will be emailed to winners, but others are physical items and we must determine the safest way to deliver them.  Please bear with us as we work through the logistics.  We will be reaching out to our winners as soon as we can, but in the meantime, please feel free to contact us with any question or concern!

Thank you again, and please remember to stay safe and healthy!
